CF/EQ/PI PCB
The CF/EQ/PI PCB can be configured in lots of ways. The first triode is a generic gain stage but the second triode can be configures as a:
Gain stage
Cathode follower
Cathodyne phase inverter
What's more, you can implement this with:
AC coupling
Level shifting
Cathode bias
Fixed bias
Direct coupling with a grid-cathode protection diode!
But wait, there's more! The tone stack can be connected either to the cathode or anode of V1b, or not used at all,
and it can be configured either as:
Traditional FMV tone stack
James tone stack with mid shift! (Described in my book, section 11.10)
